Huawei rolling out the June 2020 update for Huawei Y9 Prime 2019

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 smartphone runs on the Android v9.0 (Pie) operating system. The phone is powered by Octa-core (2.2 GHz, Quad-core, Cortex A73 + 1.7 GHz, Quad-core, Cortex A53) processor. It runs on the HiSilicon Kirin 710F Chipset. It has 4 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 smartphone has a TFT LCD display. It measures 163.5 mm x 77.3 mm x 8.8 mm and weighs 196.8 grams. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 391 PPI pixel density. It has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 84.17 %. On the camera front, the buyers get a 16 MP f/2.2 Primary Camera and on the rear, there’s a 16MP + 8MP + 2MP camera with features like Fixed Focus. It is backed by a 4000 mAh battery. Connectivity features in the smartphone include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Volte, and more.

Huawei has started rolling out the June 2020 security patch update for the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 smartphone users. The latest update brings version number EMUI 10.0.0.230 (C675E6R4P2) and the size of this update is around 112MB.

Changelog

The June 2020 security update brings Android patches from Huawei and Google, fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 12 high levels of CVEs. There is no Medium and Low level of CVEs found.
