Kirin A1 is the world’s first BT / BLE dual-mode 5.1 wearable chip, which was released in September 2019. Also launched is the HUAWEI FreeBuds3 wireless headset equipped with Kirin A1 and the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 smartwatch.
That Huawei’s investment in wearable products has been increasing in recent years because wearable products are an integral part of Huawei’s smart life strategy in all scenarios.
That the Kirin A1 integrates a Bluetooth processing unit, an audio processing unit, a low-power application processor, and an independent power management unit in a 4.3mm × 4.4mm size. The Kirin A1 uses BT-UHD ultra-high-definition Bluetooth codec technology, with a maximum transmission bandwidth of up to 6.5 Mbps.
In addition, Kirin AI’s self-developed dual-channel synchronous transmission technology enables two headsets to directly obtain the left and right channel signals from the mobile phone and communicate directly with the mobile phone.
