How to set Google Chrome as default browser in iOS 14 and iPadOS 14

With the arrival of iOS 14 and iPadOS 14, Apple has allowed the default of another web browser for the first time. This a very good thing that we all have been waiting for a couple of years. The bad news is that Apple will require apps to be updated to support the new feature and the good news is Google already updated Chrome. The updated Chrome is now available for the App Store and anyone running iOS 14 or iPadOS 14 can now set it as their default web browser. We have accomplished this and of course, it works. And yes, we know that this is something that Android has been doing for years.

Follow the steps given below to make Google Chrome as your default browser

Step 1 – Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2 – Tap Chrome to see all of the options related to the app.
Step 3 – Tap Default Browser App.
Step 4 – Select Chrome as your app of choice.

Note – Now whenever you tap a URL, Google Chrome will open instead of Apple Safari.
