How to force enable Windows 10 hardware acceleration GPU scheduling function

Microsoft introduced hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in the Windows 10 v2004 update, but this feature is not for all users. There are still many users who cannot experience the new features. Today, foreign media windowslatest shared a way to force the feature to be enabled through the registry. IT House learned that it only needs to follow the following steps:

Step 1 – Open the Windows search interface.

Step 2 – Enter “Registry” and select the first option.

Step 3 – In the registry editor, open “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE”> “SYSTEM”> “CurrentControlSet”> “Control”> “GraphicsDrivers” in sequence.

Step 4 – Find the 32-bit Dword key-value “HwSchMode” in the right column. Turn it on and change the value to 2 (2 on 1 off).

Step 5 – Restart the system.

Step 6 – Open “Settings”> “System”> “Display”> “Graphics Settings” and turn on this function switch.

Step 7 – Restart the system.

The current conditions for using this feature are Windows 10 v2004 (19041.264), Nvidia GeForce 451.48 + driver or AMD epinephrine 2020 version 20.5.1 beta driver. Devices that support this function only need to refer to the last two steps above (steps 6 to 7) to open and enable the function in the settings. It should be noted that no matter what kind of operation to modify the registry can not guarantee foolproof, early adopters must back up the registry before the operation.
