Google will provide traffic lights in several cities in the US

Google recently gave significant improvements to the display of details on Google Maps, and we already know that it has begun testing traffic lights.

After the completion of the tests, the company now went into practice with the release of the latest update of its application.

In particular, Google will provide traffic lights in several cities in the US, both in its application for Android and iOS devices.

This update only applies to traffic lights at intersections at the moment, but the application is not yet able to show the status of the traffic lights in real-time, something we hope to see in a future upgrade. The lantern icons are displayed automatically, without the user having to activate the selection manually. As even in America it is not available in all states.

Let’s not forget that Google already knows where most, if not all, of the traffic lights in the world are located, so it is only a matter of time before we see it in more countries.
