Google Pixel 5 may stay with fingerprint at the back

Takes a gander at the current smartphone market, and items above mid-range situating essentially use innovations, for example, off-screen fingerprint or facial recognition. However, the most recent news uncovers that the Pixel 5 series and Pixel 4a will all be “standard” back fingerprint recognition modules.

The news originated from Onleaks, a popular foreign person who broke the news. On Saturday night, he released the Pixel 5 series and Pixel 4a family picture renderings. As should be obvious from the image, Google Pixel 5 series incorporates Pixel 5, Pixel 5 XL, and Pixel 5 XL 5G. Each of the three items utilizes back three-camera modules and are outfitted with back fingerprint recognition modules.

The Pixel 4a is also equipped with a rear fingerprint. The previous generation of Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL cut off fingerprint recognition, and all adopt 3D face recognition. However, the new products in 2020 are all equipped with rear fingerprints. This obvious “reverse driving” approach seems illogical. The information cannot be confirmed at this time, and the specifics may not be revealed until the press conference this fall.
