Genshin Impact: Update 3.1 will introduce a collectible card game, according to a leaker

Genshin Impact Update 3.1 could introduce a collectible card game, with the ability to challenge NPCs and other players. The tip came from leaker Mero, who on Twitter says that version 3.1, arriving on September 28, 2022, will introduce a collectible card game.

According to the information shared by Deep Throat, the mode will be permanent, therefore unrelated to limited-time events, and will include both PvE and PvP mechanics. It also appears that completing matches against NPCs will award points to level up Genshin Impact’s “Battle Pass”.

Mero hasn’t shared any further information regarding the “Genshin Impact TCG”, but if it really does come with version 3.1 we will undoubtedly be affected by it in the coming weeks. In the meantime, as usual, we recommend that you take this information with a grain of salt. Genshin Impact Update 3.0 will debut next week, introducing the Sumeru region, the Dendro element, new characters, events and more.
