According to the latest report, the biggest tech giant Samsung is reportedly bringing a smartphone with a Penta rear camera setup. Yes, you heard it right, to recall Samsung had released a phone with six cameras in total called Galaxy Fold and you will glad to know that it will be the first smartphone with five rear cameras from the Samsung and it’s the Galaxy A72.
The Samsung Galaxy A72 is the successor of the Galaxy A71 and this device is said to be a mid-range offering and is expected to hit the market in the first half of next year, as per a Korean publication report.
As per the specifications concern, the Galaxy A72 may launch with a Penta-camera module consisting of 64 MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. The report adds that Galaxy A72 will also include a 32MP selfie camera – the same as its predecessor.
Talking about the first Penta camera setup at the rear side the Galaxy A72 may be the company’s first Penta-camera phone but it will not be the first in the world. Nokia 9 PureView already holds the title. Stay tuned for more.
