Former Employees: GTA 6 pictures is very realistic and the light/shadow effects are more realistic

Previously, T2 President Strauss Zelnick claimed that GTA 6 was developed smoothly and would become a new benchmark in the game industry. Recently, well-known whistleblower Tez2 shared the statement of a former R-star developer: R-star is working hard to achieve a “realistic” effect in “GTA 6”. Tez2 posted on the GTA forum: “A former Rockstar developer mentioned to a friend that the graphics of GTA6 are very real, and this is the only hint he can give.”

GTA 5” on PS5 and XSX already uses Rockstar’s latest engine, and “Red Dead Redemption 2” also uses this version of the engine. “Red Dead Redemption 2” uses SGA1, and the next-generation version of “GTA 5” uses SGA2. SGA2 adds light tracking technology, but mainly for lighting and shadows. The PS5 version of GTA5 disables ray-chasing ambient occlusion, possibly due to serious performance issues.

From this point of view, Rockstar hopes to raise the industry standard again. In addition to having massive maps, new gameplay features, and multiple playable character stories, Rockstar also seems eager to set new standards in graphics. “GTA 6” may have higher-level ray tracing effects, more high-definition real textures, more prominent shadows, and other innovative changes.

Previously, Tez2 also claimed that Rockstar has planned the first wave of DLC for “GTA 6”, including new cities and missions. New cities will come in the form of islands or “instantiate new cities”, introducing new heists and more.
