Asus ZenFone 7 and 7 Pro officially launched with Snapdragon 865+

Asus introduced two new smartphones in the Zenfone series. We are referring to the Asus ZenFone 7 and 7 Pro, which have the well-known flip mechanism recommended by the company with the Asus Zenfone 6.

Characteristics

The Asus ZenFone 7 and 7 Pro have a 6.67-inch screen with AMOLED panel, FHD + resolution, 20: 9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, 200Hz touch sampling rating, 1ms response time, 110% DCI-P3, Delta color accuracy E <1, 100000: 1 contrast, 700nits outdoor brightness, and Gorilla Glass 6 protection.

The simple model has Snapdragon 865 and the Pro version has Snapdragon 865+. The processor comes with 6GB / 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charge.

Asus Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro have three cameras in the flip mechanism. The 64MP Sony IMX686 with Quad Bayer and EIS technology comes with an ultra-wide 12MP and an 8MP telephoto lens that has 3x zoom capability.

In the Pro, we find OIS in both the main camera and the telephoto lens. The smartphone module supports 8K video recording at 30fps and slow-motion video at 120fps. It also has a dual-LED flash. In other features, the new Asus smartphones have a side fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers. In addition, in terms of connectivity, they support Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and Wi-Fi 6. Finally, both models run Android 10-based ZenUI 7.

Price and availability

According to the company, the small version of the Asus ZenFone 7 that will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will be priced at NT $ 21,990  and the larger one with the same storage but 8GB of RAM at NT $ 23,990. As long as you buy the 7 Pro, it will be released in a version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and its price will be NT $ 27,990.
