ASUS released Android 12 upgrade timeline: Check the eligible devices

Google has finally brought its Android 12 officially. Some smartphone companies are already started rolling out the stable version and some are in a beta phase.  Now, according to the information, ASUS has shared a list of smartphones that will get Android 12 and a timeline.

ASUS Android 12 Eligible Phones:

  • ASUS Zenfone 7
  • ASUS Zenfone 8
  • ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip
  • ASUS ROG Phone 3
  • ASUS ROG Phone 5
  • ASUS ROG Phone 5s

The Zenfone 8 series will be the first smartphone to receive a stable update of Android 12. The new version update is scheduled to be launched in December. In addition, ROG Phone 5/5s series, ROG Phone 3 and ZenFone 7 series will be upgraded in the first quarter of 2022.

ASUS said that the new version update “inherited the main functional changes introduced in the official version of Android 12”, and also includes ASUS battery and performance management functions.

In addition, the Android 12 stable version of the Zenfone series will have ZenUI-specific features, providing “easier navigation, simplified control panel, higher visibility for better control and more customization options.”

Earlier this month, ASUS began recruiting testers for the Android 12 version of ZenFone 8. The ZenUI 8 Beta version is based on the official version of Android 12. It is expected that the stable version of the new system will arrive soon.
