Apple releases second beta for macOS 10.15.6 and tvOS 13.4.8

Apple today released the second Beta version of the upcoming macOS Catalina 10.15.6 update for developers to test. It is only one week since the first Beta version was released, and two weeks have passed since the release of macOS Catalina 10.15.5.

After the developer installs the correct configuration file from the Apple Developer Center, they can download macOS Catalina 10.15.6 Beta from the “Software Update” mechanism in “System Preferences.”

This new update of ‌macOS Catalina‌ has not brought new features but may include performance improvements, security updates, and fixes for errors that could not be resolved in previous updates. I didn’t find any new features in the first Beta before, and visually this version of the update is still mainly to improve stability.

In addition, Apple also released the second Beta version of the tvOS 13.4.8 update today for developers to test. It is also only one week before the release of tvOS 13.4.8 Beta 1.

tvOS 13.4.8 Beta is designed for the fourth and fifth-generation Apple TV models and can be downloaded to the Apple TV by using the configuration file installed by Xcode.

In general, tvOS updates are relatively small and focus on low-level bug fixes and improvements rather than major functional changes. So far, there is no news about the content of tvOS 13.4.8, and no new features have been found in the first Beta.

Mass production of “iPhone 12” will start in July
